I used to work up to 12 hour days and on weekends, despite working for myself. I was terrified that I would miss something if I wasn’t working.
I used to not have a consistent yoga or meditation practice despite being a yoga teacher. I couldn’t get myself to follow through on my good intentions.
I used to blow up and yell whenever my partner and I didn’t agree on something. I was ashamed and embarrassed over my reactions.
Today I take 3-day weekends (and get more work done), practice yoga daily (and feel 100x better from it), and communicate calmly with my partner (we fight 10x less).
The yoga skills I share aren’t just another self-help tool. They are practices that I live each and every day.
They’ve helped me become the person I so desperately wanted to be - free, excited, and grounded.
